How-to: Jira & Confluence
Embedding Jira issues or Confluence pages generally requires authentication because the content is private to your organization.
Steps
- Paste URL: Paste your Jira or Confluence link into Super Embed.
- Authentication Required: If the content is private, you will see a message: “Authentication Required”.
- Connect Account: Click the Connect Atlassian button.
- Authorize: A popup will appear from Atlassian. This popup is from Atlassian, not Super Embed or monday.com, it’s safe to log in through here. You can check the URL in the top of the popup to confirm this. Log in and grant Super Embed permission to access your Jira/Confluence data.
- Success: Once authorized, the page will reload and your content will be embedded!
Troubleshooting
- Popups Blocked: Ensure your browser isn’t blocking the authentication popup.
- Wrong Account: If you have multiple Atlassian accounts, make sure you are logged into the one with access to the specific URL you pasted.
Security Note: Super Embed uses OAuth 2.0 to securely connect to your Atlassian account. We do not store your password, nor do we see any of the linked content.
