How-to: Jira & Confluence

Embedding Jira issues or Confluence pages often requires authentication because the content is private to your organization.

Steps

1. Paste URL: Paste your Jira or Confluence link into Super Embed.
2. Authentication Required: If the content is private, you will see a message: “Authentication Required”.
3. Connect Account: Click the Connect Atlassian button.
4. Authorize: A popup will appear from Atlassian. Log in and grant Super Embed permission to access your Jira/Confluence data.
5. Success: Once authorized, the page will reload and your content will be embedded!

Troubleshooting

• Popups Blocked: Ensure your browser isn’t blocking the authentication popup.
• Wrong Account: If you have multiple Atlassian accounts, make sure you are logged into the one with access to the specific URL you pasted.

Security Note: Super Embed uses OAuth 2.0 to securely connect to your Atlassian account. We do not store your password.
